I need to get rid of some smaller projects because I have one massive project on its way from Montana.
It's a Kawasaki Concours. 1000cc. I forget what year it is. Clean Georgia title in hand. About 28k miles. Green.
Here's the story: I pulled it out of a storage unit last month after it sat for probably 2+ years. Yesterday I spent about 90 seconds messing with it and got it running.
Known issues:
Starter button was replaced with a toggle switch
Oil cooler leaks (has replacement oil cooler)
Front tire is worn
Petcock leaks a little
Definitely needs a carb clean
Probably needs a battery (it's on a tender right now, might bounce back. Was reading 12V)
Bags and front fairings are gone (it went down, but it's honestly fairly clean)
Gauge cluster is zip tied on
Bad gas
I'm out of town until Friday. If someone can commit to picking this up in Salem, MA Friday afternoon/night or Saturday before 3pm, it's free. Otherwise I'll fix everything above and list it for $1k.
It'd be a fun street fighter project, buddy bike, winter bike, cheap tourer, or really anything else. These are killer power plants and easy on maintenance.
If you're feeling super generous and want to make room in your own garage, I'm trying to track down a pit bike, mini bike, or vintage dirt bike. But make no mistake about it, this bike is free to whoever can pick it up Friday or Saturday.
Sorry for the upside down pic. I have no idea how to fix that.
Actually, you can pick it up pretty much any time after Friday, but I may not be there to help you load it. And it weighs roughly 11,000 pounds.

This bike is up for offer again. I grabbed it and it's sat in my garage for a year. Haven't touched it. Anyone on here want it? Located in central Mass.
Hah! The old bike project hot potato!
