WTB: Recaro, Subaru or VW Seats

Hey all, I know there are some Subaru guys on here as well as other car people. I'm looking to pick up a pair of decent used seats. Seats will be going into a VW Rabbit Pickup- I have a Recaro seat base, thus why I am looking to, first and foremost, pick up a set of Recaro seats. Not looking for cheap, flimsy (unsafe) replicas.

With that said, I have several VW seats that are strongly lacking in appearance and comfort that I would be willing to chop for the rails. My girlfriend has a Subie Impreza (2011) that we did a cross country road trip in, and I found the seats to be quite agreeable. Looking on Subaru forums, I see people selling entire OEM interiors for Imprezas for reasonable money (including a few on ebay) but not so much in this area. If any of you Subaru folks have comfortable, decent front seats you'd be willing to part with, I may be interested. Only need fronts, no airbags required but not a deal breaker.

ALSO! If anyone happens to know someone with VW Recaro interiors kicking around that they may be willing to sell, please let me know! I'd prefer black or red/blue/grey on black, tan stuff ain't gonna work for me.

Thanks! I need to get my seats figured out before I can move onto my audio stage (gotta know how much room I'll have!)

Ooh, last season I got rid of some cloth Legacy GT seats..

There are a few from the Evo's if you're looking I can ask my friends... PM me if you're interested and I'll shoot a few emails out. I don't know if the recaros in there match up with the generic recaro rails..

Not trying to thread jack but I am also in need of a drivers seat for my 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS. If anyone knows of any for sale I would appreciate the info.

I've actually heard that as long as the seats themselves aren't too large the VW swaps with Evos isn't that bad. I'll shoot you a PM with what I'm looking for and my price range.

Sport seats from a 3 Series BMW (84-91) will interchange pretty easily with the VW Recaro's. They tend to be cheaper as well. Came in leather and final. They go for a few hundred in good shape.

Thanks! I editted my first post- just looking for black or black on something color (I've seen alot of tan E30 interiors)

They came in black, grey, red, blue and tan. Balck and gray is more common. You see more tan with comfort package cars, though there are some with the sport seats.

Okay. Little rusty on my beemer knowledge Black, Red and Grey work for me. Exterior will be red, interior will be red and black!

Turns out I'm all set for the time being. My uncle helped me find a pair of seats out of an old VW Scirocco. Pretty good condition too!

I have a really nice period correct MoMo steering wheel (3 spoke) even has the horn button and matching shift nob (both black leather) out of my scirocco. They are a direct fit for your rabbit if you're interested pm me and I can send pics.
