Best Suzuki Service Shop Regionally?

    Best Suzuki Service Shop Regionally?

I typically do all my own maintenance, but I just bought a left over 2023 GSX-R1000 and I'm considering bringing it to a dealer for the break-in service because this is my first Suzuki and my first liter bike supersport (coming from a Ninja 1000SX and before that a CBR650R). Can anyone recommend a solid dealership service department for a break-in service? Still on the fence about just doing it myself, but I think I'd feel more comfortable having a dealership check it out for the first service. I bought it from MOMs Enfield, but I'm not sure they've got the best service department in the area. I've read good things about Newhaven Powersports, but I'd rather stay away from the city if possible.

Only thing a dealer service department has over you is the warranty on your new purchase .

All they really do is change the oil and check all the torque specs and perhaps lube and adjust chain ( if that )

Personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable having some MMI graduate touch my new land missle .

Motorsports international has a pretty good rep. I would say judging by the size of the dealership and the amount of bikes they sell it's probably well deserved. I do all my own work so I can't personally say they are good but I've never heard bad about them.

best shop? depends on your relationship with the dealer, loyalty helps (that means no DIY)

I just do this kind of thing myself. It's cheaper and significantly faster than making a trip to a shop...and this way I know it's done right. I save receipts and document date/mileage for potential warranty issues.

    It's not a Ducati.

    It's an easy DIY IMO.
