Last summer, about 2 weeks before my shoulder surgery, the RC died on me. I rode it 100+ miles that day, and cruising along on flat ground going 40 in 4th, it simply shut off without a hiccup, backfire, light, flicker, anything.
-When you turn the key, the fuel pump cycles
-it has fuel
-no FI light
-battery is good
-fuel commander lights up and seems to be okay
-all fuses are good
-quick check of wires shows nothing chaffed
-pulled the plugs and layed them on the frame and see no spark
I have the manual, and Ill keep at it, but wanted to check if there is something obvious I might be missing?

its been solid for me since 06!!!
Ill look into it though
after not touching it for 8 months, I had some delusion of getting it running last night and riding it to work today

I would just take the Power commander off to see. It's easy as it just involves unplugging 2 plugs from the harness and plugging the stock harness back together.

If you don't have spark then the power commander(which only controls fuel) isn't the problem, kick stand switch or kill switch would be a good place to start.
Could be several things. Have you had a look over at Honda RC51 Forum : RC51 Motorcycle Forums ?
You probably pissed it off by lugging it at 40 in 4th gear!

Have you checked the tip over sensor located in near the rear fender?
2001 RC51!!!
2007 Husky SMR 510 - no longer... blown tranny
fuel pump wont cycle with a bad tip over sensor or kick stand switch, so both of those I believe to be fine.
There is the main plug for the fuel commander, and then theres a second smaller one I cant get to. Broke a bolt taking a radiator off and threw in the towel there.
My plugs were easily accessible.
