Hey all, I have a 2006 650r, idle around 1k, service manual says should be around 1300. Tried adjusting idle knob, now when I drop into gear stalls out. Any ideas suggestions. Thanks
Is the kick stand up when you drop it into gear?

Kick stand switch or clutch adjustment.
Kick stand is up. If I keep throttle open a little around 2000 rpm it will stay running, but when I release throttle, it stalls out. Thanks again

Clutch is dragging by the sound of it. Some kickstand switches (Buell Blast comes to mind) can be overridden by revving higher also.
i know how to fix it... buy a hondalol,
was there issue with having the RPM idling at 1000 instead of 1300 maybe just turn the idle back to 1000 instead of having it at 1300?
doesn't seem like it's going to hurt the bike and you'll waste .00025 less gallons of gas (NOTE: this is only an estimate) while idling at stop signs and red lights

Hey guys, thanks for all the help / advice. Turned out to be a stuck idle adjuster that was not hitting throttle body cam.
So I'm keeping the 650r ___ No Honda for me Scuba
