Best suit brand for broad shoulders and small waist size?

I bought a joe rocket size 42 which is also my chest size. It is very true to size and fits my chest/shoulders perfectly. The only place it doesn't fit me is the waist which I am a size 30. It is way to big. Should I pay to bring in the waist or are there other brands that are more form fitting that I should look into?

Joe rocket fits "American" size people. Most of the other off-the-shelf companies are a bit more form fitting...A*, Rev-it, Dainese, etc...

That's exactly why I bought the joe rocket, for my calves and quads to fit. Apparently being physically fit is a rare body type.

Ill have to look at taking the sides in. Thanks guys.

Ha I'm sure they would. I should have also stated the suit needs to be under 600 bucks

Do you have a chest/belly protector? Adding one might solve the issue and make you safer.

Alpinestars even fits too loose for me, as does Teknic. Only one that fits well so far is Spidi.

I thought the prevailing opinion was Teknic was a more generous 'American' fit, like Joe Rocket. I do not have problems with clothes fitting losely.. I have both 2-piece pants and a 1-piece suit from Teknic. Both fit me comfortably. The suit is actually 2-sizes up from my normal jacket size and fits quite nicely with a back protector installed. It is a smidge long, but I make due. The waist fits well.

I had the top of the line Teknic. Way too much material, especially in the waist area. Looked like a sail going down the straight. My Astars is much more form fitting, especially for an off the rack suit. Much more flexibility too, def worth the extra $.
Ya might have to get a custom suit. I heard Pilot makes em custom and are priced right.

    yup. love mine.

they're also having a sale right now on sample suits. these were suits that were sent to people to check sizes then shipped back before they had their own made. might be worth a shot to see what they have. also contact Todd at Heroic to see if he has any suits that someone your dimensions might not have taken delivery on and what kind of a deal he'd cut for you.
