Bike & Car Show - April 20th - Worcester, Mass

On Sunday, April 20, 2008 there is going to be a bike and car show.

This is the third annual show and it is being put on by the Motorsports club at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.

The show starts at 10AM and will go until about 3pm. It is free to spectate and to show off your bike or car. If you want to enter in the competition, it's $5. Food and drinks will be provided free of charge, with an optional donation. There are several categories for competition, including a motorcycle category.

The car show will be at WPI, but the exact location of it on campus is still in the works. I will update this thread once we know more.

Is this an event worth checking out, i.e. was there a good turnout in prior years? If not, I'll just go to Suzy Q's a few weeks later.

Last year there were about 150 cars and bikes there. There will be free food and music playing. It's a good time to relax and shoot the breeze. It's more cars than bikes.

I'm deciding between my 98 Suzuki Bandit 600 and my 99 Kawasaki ZRX1100. Bandit is more comfortable, but not a good highway bike. ZRX is less comfortable, but a better highway bike. It's gonna be a trade off.

When I went to Assumption, I took 93 north to 495 south to 290, its about the same time as the pike with no tolls. Something to think about
