About 6 months back, the auto dealership was sold to the Ocean group.
The motorcycle dealership, where I've been buying for almost 20 years, is closing it's doors after 50 years in the same location.
They've got some inventory on CL with a statement to this effect, so it's public knowledge.
It's a sad day, good folks who became friends now out of their jobs.
Crickets ?
Apparently this is why they are closing...
Don't tell cycles 128 - they will buy it and make it shitty.
My brother lives nearby and goes there quite a bit, he will miss it I am sure. I bet they may have a decent supply of 70's parts?
I looked on CL a bit but was quickly annoyed and found nothing about Weymouth Honda.

I know folks have looked at taking it over, but nothing came of it.
On CL, I just type Weymouth into the search field when looking in motorcycles, other than a few private listings, it's them.
Also, Weymouth Honda Powersports is located in Weymouth, MA. Shop our large online inventory.
The prices haven't really dropped yet and it's unclear how much they might, but time will tell.

Kinda sad that they're closing, I remember going there in the early 90s and they had an RC30 in the showroom on a pedestal. Definitely one of the oldest Honda dealers in the area.

At one point, I think that RC30 came back to them and was back on a pedestal in the showroom. A spectacular piece of Honda history.
It's just a tough market and locally that's short season and lack of off road access really puts a crimp in the ability to move units.
This link should make it easier for those who want to check out the CL listings

Whatever the problem, Paul Mitchell, the affable manager, would find the most cost-effective solution; oftentimes, it was no-charge. He and Chris, the salesman, remembered every customer's name and bike and, upon arrival, called out friendly greetings.
Gad, like the ever-reducing quality of political candidates the reduction of quality motorcycle dealers, alas, bodes ill.
Both Paul and Chris are great, stand up guys. Chris and I shared celtics tickets for years.
