I picked up this tach for my track bike and need to wire it up. All wiring on bike is stripped to the bare bones
The tach has 4 leads Red, Black, White, and Green. And a looped brown wire going back into the housing.
I've determined that the white wire goes to the illumination bulb.
Now I assume the black is ground.
Red is switched power.
and the green goes to a coil? Which coil? does it matter? and do I use the neg or pos on the coil?
Any input is appreciated.

Find the b/y wire. That's the stock tach wire that runs to the front ignition coil.
