Now that I have a pickup I've realized that I'm badly in need to a set of ramps.
What is everyone using?
I'm looking at the following options:
http://www.discountramps.com/motorcycle-bike-ramp.htm
Yes it's more expensive but it's 3 sections give me the option to have keep them hooked together and have a large stable platform or I can pull them apart and use them separately.
option 2:

Werner 0.9-Ft x 7.5-Ft 1500-Lb Capacity Arched Folding Aluminum Loading Ramp
definitely has the price point advantage.
thoughts? opinions?
Thanks
Tim
If you can't Race it or take it to bed, it's not worth having..
Option one is awesome...they work very well and make loading bikes extremely easy and take the fear out of dropping the bike. Big issue is fitting them in the truck with your bike in there. you may think there is room, but even with just one bike in the middle, they take up a lot of space. With two bikes, they are nearly impossible to fit.

Very good call, I've borrowed one before that does not separate and it takes up WAY too much space.. To add more details I have an extended cab sliverado 1500. The ad does point out that the 3 sections cab be taken apart and stored separately in the bed or in the cab...

The ones I used could be separated. If you have a bike with full body work, it is a tough squeeze to get the wider middle section in there due to the wheel wells. Other issue was even if you get them on to fit flat on the bed, you will need to stack them at least two high and they will rub up against the lower part of the body work. This means you need to secure the stack very well against the side of the truck. Not saying it can't be done, I've done it, its just a lot of work you would not expect.

Goto your local shop and see what they got. Online kills local business. If the shop dosent have what you need....click away! And dont be shy to ask if they price match...

Autozone sells the piece that allows you to make your own ramps for 28 bucks. Just gotta get a 2 by 6 or 2 by 8 from the lumber yard. They come in pairs and I actually need only one so you can have one of mine for ten dollars! Let me know I'm located near by in Holden.

On sale, decent ramps.
I have a double wide ramp like this : http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...-ATV-Ramp.aspx
That I am looking to sell.
I like the double wide for confidence in on and offloading compared to single width.
