Looking for a set of new riding boots/shoes. Strictly a street rider and not interested in full height/racing boots. Want something that's good for walking when I get off the bike but also offer ankle protection. Problem I seem to be facing is most boots/shoes on the market are for narrow feet??? I did recently try the Alpinestars Men's Faster-3 shoes but they unfortunately are not wide enough for my feet.
Seems like the TCX Mood GTX shoes might work. In the video review they did call out that it works with wider feet.

You guys got any other shoe recommendations????
Dainese has boots similar to that and very close in price. I haven't tried them but their race boots fit my wide feet perfectly and it's something I too struggle with. I would take a chance the street boots fit just as well. You can always return them if they don't.
I actually was looking at Dainese. Landed on these specifically:

The video review did say they run on the narrow side which is why I leaned back towards the TCX's.

Are these the same?
Same issue, was researching and found the Spidi XPD are supposedly a bit roomier, need to place an order....
The spidi xpd fit me like shit. I had to go several sizes up just to get my feet in then I had too much toe room.
OK, good to know, 1st hand experience...how WIDE your feet?? I'm only EE.
I wear forestry boots, but not steel toes. Wolverines fit my feet, but boots/feet fit, is like helmet/head fit, everyone has different shape feet, beyond just narrow & wide

I have super wide feet and require a wide "toe-box" shoe/boot, for sneakers think Altra. Anyway, I've found that so many of the European manufactured motorcycle boots and riding shoes are very narrow, Spidi and Dainese were the worst offender for me actually. The old Oxtar brand (that then became TCX ) were the most comfortable boots I'd found, took a bit to break in but even became comfy walking around all day. Not sure if TCX is even around anymore, my 2nd favorite boots/shoes were A*'s, but it was hit or miss depending on the model...
I guess I should add a disclaimer that I haven't tried anything new (within the last 5+ years) from Spidi or Dainese.

Been wearing Daytona Roadstar GTX since 2008. Not too hot, good for walking.

I have 13 4E feet so I know your pain. I primarily ride with offroad focused boots, but I know at least a few of these companies sell road boots as well. TCX, Gaerne, Forma, Alpinestars all run pretty wide. I know at least the SMX line from AS was always recommended for wide feet (I currently have AS Toucans which are decently wide as well). And I had a pair of TCX street boots that were quite wide.

The two reasons I went with this over TCX was they offered half sizes and I did like the fact that this came with a reflective strip in the back of the shoe. Will be here Thursday and will report back on fitment.

Happy to report the shoes I bought are wide enough for my feet!
