When I crashed my last bike, I ripped (at the seams only I believe) my leather jacket from the breast to the armpit on the right side.
I also ripped the palm on my right glove.
I'm 100% going to have the jacket re-stitched at the seams but I'm not sure if it's worth it to repair the palm of the glove or just buy a new pair. The gloves are not heavily used and not worn out anywhere other than the damaged area.
I was thinking about bringing the jacket to either a local tailor or cobbler to be stitched, but I was looking for advice if anyone has had similar repairs done and can recommend a reputable place. Should I have the jacket done at a place that specializes in leather?
Thanks!

Jacket pictures on next post.
49 states do it one way, and Massachusetts does it their own way.
I'd just get new gloves. Repair the jacket.
