My Campingworld unit seems pretty well constructed for a steelie... but I don't think they sell under their brand any more, don't recall who the actual mfg was.
Haulmark- I have a 6x10 Passport (their economy model)- sturdy enough for hanging some gear on the walls, 2 bikes, etc.- quality construction. I'm on 5 years, no issues (5-6K miles of travel per season). Step up to the Transport model for upgraded walls, floors, cross beams, etc.
I have a steel 6x12' V-nose with a ramp door made by Covered Wagon Trailers. I bought it in 2014 when I lived in Louisiana, but there are a few dealers in Northern New England that sell them. I've been very happy with it.

Just for reference, becasue you know my trailer...It's a v-nose 6x10 Alcom trailer with Advantec walls and floor, radial tires with a spare with mount. I bought it from Campout in Oxford for around 4500. It's well made and tows great. Weighs ~900 pounds before I outfitted it.
Do white or light trailers stay cooler?
Do the V nose trailers tow better than the flat front at highway speeds?
Mythbusters did a show on lighter colors for cars, a little Google time will get you there. I think they found it did make a difference.
I am not sure about the front shape. I would think they are slightly better, the ones that slant down slightly maybe a bit more. I bet it is not a huge difference. Light weight and having a tow rig big enough to break the wind are probably the biggest mpg factors.
At least I hope so lol. I towed a landscape trailer to Sturgis with my van and got miserable mileage - 12/14. I am hoping an enclosed that sits in tight to the back of the van will do better.
I went with a White trailer just for this, imagine a black trailer on a hot day in the sun, bet you won't be able to touch it without getting burned or close to. And I also went with the V nose, I asked a lot of people who tow and they claimed it made a big difference, plus the extra space in the V nose was a plus too. The extra space in the V nose is not included with the trailer size either, so a 6x12 for example has a 6x12 box and about an additional foot and a half to 2 feet of V nose. Doesn't sound like a lot until you try and fit some long items in there, another example, I have both of my sleds in my trailer now and and there is plenty of space in the V nose to walk around the one in the front or use for storage. Without the V nose both skis would be right to the wall of the front of the trailer and make it a bit tight to get around.

Figured id give this a bump I'm looking for a 6'x12' v nose and came across these any one happen to have any experience with them? Not looking to break the bank the trailer would be used less than a 4 trips a year and storing a bike while not in use in the winter time.

It's as much a camper as trailer so may be a bit more than most want. Intech is also very proud of them.
This is my new favorite. These guys will build about anything you want as far as height or options. Well made, fairly priced.

I finally pulled the trigger on a 6x10. After too much thinking and looking for a sweet deal, I just bought a brand new vnosed, steel framed Nexhaul from a local dealer. It has some nice build features. 16 on center framing, one piece aluminum roof w/vent, quality doors, Dexter traditional axle, zerks on the ramp hinges, LED lights, spare tire, and they put 30 feet of etrack down for me (bolted through steel frame) and 10 Drings. Out the door for 3200. It is lighter than I thought with an empty weight of 1100 pounds. It does make my new van look smaller. Haha.

Yer gunna love it! Portable garage.. weather tight (ish) winter storage.
Yeah, considering my current setup, the risk is not much higher. The trouble is that there doesn't seem to be anything strong enough to prevent trailer theft. The stories I read are crazy. Best thing I have going for me is the relative security of the town I live in.
This one seems to tick all the boxes.
In good shape. Lights work and hauls very well - trailers - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
