Anybody have any tips for mounting one of these things on a helmet. I can't figure out a place where the chin bar or visor doesn't wind up taking half the view.

Figured this would be trivial.

I just ordered the Roam model for 167$ from Amazon. I'm excited to use it this weekend. Any recommendations on mounting locations? I had my old GoPro on my helmet and like the way the pictures and videos came out.

I hope you saved the GoPro mounts because that's what I used to make my Contour mounts---see my blog and search camera mounts.
