Its a struggle changing dirt bike tires, Id like to get some equipment to make it easier.

That looks like a good deal. It’s got the Mojoblocks added on so the clamps don’t scratch your rims. I’ve got a NoMar I use for changing my DR650 tires, similar setup.

Another one that’s popular for dortbikes is the Baja No-Pinch tool

I bought that same one off Kane (born) 4-5 years ago. Bead breaker alone is worth $100. The bar that comes with it isn't a no mar type. It's just powder coated steel. It will f up some painted rims. Kane added teflon to mine, so I use it on street bike tires with no damage. Mine doesn't work great for getting the bead back on. It's really fast removing tires. I use regular spoons when installing. Probably worth buything an actual No-mar bar if you do a lot of rims you don't want to scratch.

I like my rabaconda for dirt tires. You still use spoons, but it is a great highly portable stand with some nice features that make tire swaps easier.

I have that tire changer. Works fine. I upgraded to the mojo blocks/bar so I wouldn't scratch my street bike rims. But if you are doing dirt rims, no need.

I have the same one with the MOJO blocks and bar, too. Worked great for street bikes. I struggled using it for dirtbike tires for some reason.

I think the one Paul has is better for that. More portable too.

Good price for that harbor freight changer though. I think they are about $120 with the motorcycle adapter. The MOJO blocks are like another $60.

There’s a neat little tool I’ve been seeing on FB adds for dirtbike tire changes, I’ll see if I can find it later. It basically uses a pin in place of the axle that uses the hub as leverage to swap tires, it’s pretty slick.
I’ve never had an issue with dirtbike tire swaps, let them sit in the sun and use lots of lube.. I use windex, it’s slippery and it dries

My friend brought his to the track. Obviously didn't need it since there's a tire vendor onsite but it's well designed and stores nicely. I think we ended up on the rabaconda instagram account after someone posted us using it in the paddock

Both still uses spoons, just gives you an arm for breaking the bead and pushing the tire off at knee height and something to spin the tire around on.

I could be wrong, but dirty tires are just a thing we need to keep practicing.

The spooning part is actually less than a 10 min job. If it's really difficult, take smaller bites, push the tire down with your knee, stab that spoon in there, and use lube.

If you have access to a welder I'd just copy his setup. Forget buying a bar like a Nomar bar or a Mojo bar. I've got one and it's OK but nothing great. The duckbill seems to be where its at. As for the Mojoblocks, I think this guy did it better. I especially like his pipe to stop the rim from rotating.

That’s my setup. I like it for dirt bike tires, haven’t tried a street tire on it yet. I almost bought a No-Mar, but I just couldn’t get over the price. But previously I had been changing tires on 2x4’s on the garage floor, so the Tusk stand is a huge step up.

The new rabaconda street setup looks to be the best. I may buy one just for trackdays. As for expense, have you guys seen what shops are charging to change tires these days?! I would recover the cost in no time flat. But I go through rubber like underwear.

Speaking of going through lots of rubber, does anyone have a tip on cheap tire disposal? I have a trackbed worth to get rid of, but at 20 per tire, my local dump is a bit steep.
