crazy that it was so tight.
Were the threads OK
Stupid Katanas and their huge oil drain bolt. Isn't it like a 24mm or something?

Yeah the threads were ok.... It was "supposed" to be a 20mm...but the 20mm socket I had originally bought didn't fit, so I got a 21mm which did... go figure. I dunno...
Be damn sure you are going the right way before you use the breaker bar. If your working from the left side of the bike push the bar toward the front end of the bike, if your on the right side of the bike push the bar toward the rear.
If you want to ride it to Plymouth some time this week I'll do it for you. Just let me know. I'm on vacation

Lol...that was in response to someone's post, saying I wish I had a torque wrench to tighten it, silly.
I actually just ended up pounding it with a large rock until it popped into the drain pain, thus letting all the oil out. Then I just wedged a soda pop cap in there to keep the oil in once I changed it
I didn't need to tighten anything after all
By the way, don't you wear white sneakers?

What also works well for a breaker bar if you are in a pinch is a pair of old handlebars that you bent last time you rode. Fits right over the wrench and gives you plenty of torque.

Just remove the filler cap and flip the bike over.
