CA Motorcycle Rental

I am heading out to the Monterey, CA area next month and am planning on riding up the Big Sur/Pacific Coast highway and need some help.

Is anyone familiar with some good motorcycle rental companies in that area? I'm going to lean towards renting a GSX-R 1k or ZX-10. Any other suggestions?

Sportbikerental.com is pretty far from Monterey.
You'd have to go to LAX then ride up.

There is a place in SF that rents BMWs, called www.Dubbelju.com
Run by a german dude named Wolfgang. Good guy.
I just dont like Bimmers. I've rented a GS1200 once and another
time I rented a R85.

Across the water in Marin County there is a place that will
rent a variety of rice burners, but I have yet to check them out.
Its on my list to get out there to do this, soon !

I rented a R1200R from Wolfgang and was pretty happy with it.

The roads north of San Fran are also amazing and have a lot less traffice.

See if there is a trackday at Infineon while you are out there. It is on your way to Napa and Sonoma, 1 hour north of San Fran. Then it will be a real trip
