This week is black bike week here in Myrtle Beach. The bike of choice so far is the Hyabusa. I have seen more of them here than I have seen since they were first manufactured.
Gear is shorts and T-shirts with the occasional skull cap, The girls like (I shit you not) spiked heels and bikini's for riding attire.
I haven't seen any stuntin but I do see lots of squared off tires and stretched out bikes I'll bet they can go straight real fast.

i read that black bike week is now really sport bike week, black and white or is it black and blonde?it's just another culture.
see lots of booties?![]()
"fuckit!"
bootiieeeee![]()
Sportbike week is more of the official name, what actually goes on down there is BBW. I was down there a couple years ago the week before and every where we went we were told that its was a good thing we were leaving. I guess the majority of the businesses shut down for the weekend.
good to see racism alive and well in the US
I'm in NC today...it sure is purdy out...good thing i brought my bike...
Can't blame em... who would want to go hang out in Florida with a bunch of fat hairy rednecks revving Harleys out all week and puking all over themselves.
thats a happy thought
I wanted to go, but I don't have a black bike![]()
Maybe next year.
why does it have to be racism. there are plenty of sub culture hanging out and you'r welcome to join them.Originally posted by bigred875

On my way to my hotel from the job site I counted 76 hyabusas. It's a 15 minute ride. I couldn't count any in the groups because i had to pay attention to my driving. also

Were you being told that by the BBW crowd or by locals not part of the party?Originally posted by rjh200

If the ass in that pic gets any rounder, the swingarm extender might just come in handy. Not that it's so bad as-is...![]()

i know some people that were down there last year the week before and a few days after the BBW started and some of the local buisnesses did shut down
Not for nothing, but do any of you people cracking on their attire or the size of the girl's ass, even have a girlfriend that has the sack to ride around town in a bikini?
Yes, I know they are squids..., they are on vacation driving around the city at five miles an hour, not much need for gear.
Only my $.02, If they want to ride around like that, then so be it. As far as teh chicken strips, when I rode in Myrtle Beach bike week last year, the majority of the roads are straight as hell, and the police are brutal with speed traps.
You should use a different ack then BBW for describing the activies you're observing there
here's why
Why do you think he went to Myrtle Beach in the first place?Originally posted by somestrangeguy

From what I was told talking to a bunch of locals and shop owners, is that the reason they close is because its not worth it to them to stay open. The crowd that goes down there does not really spend any money and has a tendancy to be hostile and destructive.Originally posted by bigred875

Where as the crowd at the "regular" bike week may not be any less hostile or destructive but they spend more money which makes it worth it for them to stay open.
could it be that sportbike posers don't buy cruiser stuff?Originally posted by rjh200
