-I'm not that old...never had a "street bike" without FI.

-TZ250: my first "bike", basically for commuting as I lived in a small town.
-SV650: my first street bike with a legal plate, my first new(6mi) bike.
-TL1000R: my first twin. new.

-1098: giggles. new
-1050 speed triple: loud. used.

I just picked up my first FI bike.

I started when I was 8 with a little mini-bike with a 5hp briggs and stratton engine.
From there I obtained a 197X Yahmaha 250 Trials bike, still have it sitting in the shed at home and it needs some resto work.

First street bike was a 2002 SV650N, Yellow with a carbon fiber pipe that gave it a pretty mean sound.

Second 'street' bike was a 2006 XR650R that I just sold yesterday. Thing was a blast but I couldn't afford a supermoto setup for it and the lack of a key/way to secure it bothered me.

Currently I have a 2004 SV1000S that I just picked up from a fellow NESR member. Needs a little bit of work but I'm sitting on some cash from the sale of the XR650R so I'm looking to build it up to be my ideal sport cruiser!

We must be about the same age my buddy had a GT80 yellow and then the first air-cooled YZ came out.... it is funny to see how SMALL a GT80 really was, but yet there it was, directionals and everything, fully street legal..... we got his up to about 55 I guess..... But the YZ, man we were scared shitless of that at first, used to turf our opposing prep school's lawns with it hahaaaa. To this day I search GT80 videos. Look at this late model I never knew they made it, has swingarm of YZ on it!

You didn't like the DTs enough to want one again? I love 'em. I can't find the website again unfortunately but this one is from a guy who restores Honda SL 70's, a wonderful little bike of my past. A few years ago I almost bought a yellow DT that was in really nice shape but it was to be my only bike and I just can't do that, Toto it's not 1977 anymore.
