I checked it out quick at the NYC show, it is huge. Be a good bike for drag racing, which seems to be what most kawi big bikes are best at

This bike should have been called the H1 with H2 being reserved for a supercharged 14R platform. They could then slightly detune that engine to 250HP or so (so it doesn't compete directly), stick it in the Concourse, and I'll be at the dealer with a down payment.

A supercharged Vulcan would make for an interesting power cruiser too.

My educated guess is particulate matter burning up due to unburnt fuel entering a superheated exhaust when the bike hits its rev limiter. Sparks aren't uncommon in engines. Most modern chainsaws, weed whackers, and dirt bikes have spark arrestors.

I'll take your word for it. If I saw that on my bike I'd be worried it was eating itself.
