Anyone know of any makes/ models having a 9" round headlamp? I know some older GS1100's do. This can't be the only one? SV's, ZRX, Ducati? Anything.
Yamaha XV920R
Yamaha Seca (not sure which years)
awesome single headlamp, more light than most dual headlamp systems

honda 919? Not sure what the actual diameter is but it's pretty damn big. I believe the 599 is smaller but still a good size.

I put a Victory Vegas headlight on my TW200. Not sure what the diameter is, but it's big.

I would like to find out what kind of lights the guys at Atom Bomb Cycles put on their bikes. I like how lightweight they look. Maybe single filament?

What's your price, may I ask? You can PM me if you'd prefer.
As mentioned by nhbubba, pretty sure that is a Hella 500 Fog/Driving Light that is on the Atom Bomb Cycles bike.
Very similar to this one

There are a ton of others on their website that you can scroll through to find the exact unit on the Atom Bomb Cycle bike.

9" is really big, like something on a prewar bike.
In the 1950s 8" headlamps were not uncommon. You see these on old Vincents.
Later on 7" became the standard. This is what's on a 1960s Triumph or BSA, and I think most 1970s Japanese motorcycles.

hella 500s are only about 6" its the Hella Rally 4000s that are huge 8" iirc

I saw the 4000, not sure the old machine I am putting it on will handle it. It is pretty stout though. It an off road only light, It must be a bright SOB.
BTW, I cannot find a stock 919 headlamp anywhere. And the bandit one shown, can't seem to find one of those either. Then again, I'm only searching Flea-Bay.
when I got my first XV920R, it had a 7" headlamp scabbed on to it, I looked and looked for the original, found the housing one day on a ride, met someone with a XV920R with a Vetter faring, so I bought the housing from him even though it didn't include the lens. I started searching to no avail, went to local dealer just to verify part # for more search, a few moments later he comes back with a dusty old lens someone had special ordered 10 or more years earlier and never picked up. A year or so later, I picked up a complete parts bike that turned out to be in better shape than my original project

That is a story of luck and patience. Well done.
If anyone has one of those SV/ 919 or other headlights similar, let me know if you're looking to part with it. I just want an upgrade to the rusty/ bent one I have.
Good call on the diameter of the 4000. My only thought is the depth of the 4000 is roughly 5 inches where the 500 is only 2.5. Guess it really depends on the application and the available room. I like the light pattern of the cornering 4000 as opposed to the driving, fog or pencil options.

The big Rally 4000s are a bit big for a bike as auxiliary lights. Ive been looking at the Compact 4000 only 6.75" diameter, I'd get one in a driving beam and the other in a fog (at Susquehanna Motorsports, they get direct from Germany instead of thru Hella USA)
soon my V-strom power woes will be solved, I just purchased an external alternator setup, expect to see it arrive in the next few days, can't wait, I will leave the stock system alone, set this one up completely independent and run accessories from it, 60 amp output
