Last night on my way home from Bike Night i was caught in a back up of over 3 miles on 495 southbound. I was waiting for over an hour (bike off).
As I approached the scene it appeared to be two choppers totaled. Has anyone seen any news / information on what happened? It didn't look good.
I was coming home around 8pm from TTD and passed 2 choppers (one of them was 2up) just after the rte3 on ramp. They were moving rather slow (~45-50).
not sure if those were the ones.

My sister was on the way home from Canobie Lake Park and mentioned it to me.... said she was stuck in traffic for a long friggin' time
I would have been too. I followed about 10 other bikes and we went in between cars
Had one guy try and open his door on us
They are probably waiting for more info from the police and notification of next of kin.. They were probably in the middle of printing when they got this info..
Heres a little more info

Another example why riding stagger is important. Simply ridiculous sometimes when I see a whole bunch of riders riding with inches apart doing high speed.

First off it sucks that anyone got hurt! RIP
I love the fact that since it wasn't Sportbikes involved they give good detail about what happened and don't jump to any conclusions. You know damn well if it was a sportbike crash they would have been all like "Speed was probably a factor", "Are these bike too fast?" or my favorite "1 man DEAD after he reclessly crashed into his campadre of SPEED!!!!!!!11!!".
That funny you say that... I was thinking when reading, If it's a sport bike they say it was a sport bike, If it's something else they mention nothing of the type of bike?? So people can jump to a conclusion that it was a sport bike??
After watching the video from fox news, it looks like sport bike![]()
Wow. Some of you should be detectives. Being able to determine what kind of bikes they were, and how they crashed just from reading "two bikes crashed" in an article.
RIP.

The reason we assumed it wasn't a sport bike is because of what ku996r said. He mentioned choppers and we assume that they were choppers when the news reports use pronouns.
It sucks anybody died, but we have to be careful in the dark. I was riding home from Lowell last night with 20+ reckless riders and I just dropped back. They were being way to brazen and wild for the amount of traffic on a dark 93.
I work at a hospital and was told one was a double amputee and is sitting in a morgue, the other was shipped out to a trauma center
We assumed their sport bikes because its a stigma that speed and sports bike go together. Let's dissolve this stigma and we can start from here. I'm like Jimaug87, I like to enjoy my ride. I love my family...and so on. When I ride in a group and there's speed, I fall back. If they're friends, they will slow down.

Oh and I forgot, if there's a need for speed, go to a track!
My condolences go to the families
