    KLIM dakar pant review

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently purchased a pair of Dakar pants from KLIM. first impressions.
I like the fact that the lower leg closure is on the back of the leg and not around the side so its less likely to hang up on the foot peg.
there is a long front zippered vent on each leg so when its cold in the morning you can keep the breeze out but open the vent a little or wide open when you get heated up.
the fabric is much stronger than the fox pants I have now and I expect that they will hold up better , my fox pants wore out down in the boot area. The klim pants are reinforced in the high wear areas.

I did a ride with these back in late november, they were very comfortable, it was pissing rain for a good part of the ride, and while the pants are not water proof, they did do a good job of shedding alot of the moisture.

If I ever wear these out, I would definately buy another pair .

Excellent. I'm in the market for pants, so I appreciate the feedback on your purchase. Where/how much?

I also have the Baja pants that are fully vented for hot weather riding, so far I love both, I am normally in a 32 waist 32 inseam, they say to order the next size up, I got the 34 and they fit perfectly.

I have the stow away jacket as well, its gortex so its water proof and breathable. it packs down into its own pocket and has straps to mount it to your handlebar crossbar. I have used it as a mid layer under my enduro jacket when its really cold out, but its also great for when the mornings are chilly but the afternoons are warm. it fits over my body armor shirt as well.

There riding gear is pretty well suited for the changing new england climate.

they are not yet as mainstream as some of the other bigger names but they do make a quality product and they are becoming more and more recognized.
