    Buttonwoods MX Track Richmond, RI

    Just found this place while looking for something else on google maps, it's just down the road from me, drive by all the time had no idea it was even there. No website, just the FB page. No plans to go, was just surprised to see it there and curious if any of the RI / CT guys ever been there?

    From their facebook page it looks like things are moving in the right direction for them. Richmond Planning board voted unanimously last night to recommend our zone change and zoning amendments to the Town Council which would include motocross in our zoned district. Final hurdle is September 5th at the Town Hall and then motocross racing could become a reality in Rhode Island!

    Congrats to them as RI is so anti dirt biking.

    Looks like they got town council approval. Good for them.

    We did it! One step closer to building this dream into a reality. We are officially zoned p/t flex tech and the town council adopted new wording to allow motocross racing to exist in Richmond in our zone! We have still got a lot of work to go, but as of right now, we celebrate this monumental victory! Thank you to all our supporters.
