I purchased this bike brand new in April 2004 and I'm the only owner. The bike has never been crashed at anytime. I dropped it once and it fell over off the kickstand once....that is the only two times this bike wasn't on its tires.
This 2003 FZ1 has been my pride and joy since the purchase. I have gone to great lengths to preserve its condition to the best of my abilities. There are a few very small scratches but the overall conditon of this bike is well above average.
It just passed NH State inspection for 2008 and is ready to keep on riding.
There are absolutely no issues with this machine. It's literally "turn-key" in every sense of the phrase.
The ONLY reason I'm selling is to persue racing and the FJR is going to take over touring-duties for now.
I have the entire history of this bike. If there's anything I've missed or if there are any questions, please feel free to ask away!
This is an older picture. I have to take new ones and post them. The condition isn't much different.

Somewhere near 40K....not sure if it's just under or just over.
I'm at work, bike's at home. I'll check and update as soon as I can.
R1slowflyer- Trust me....the pain that sears through me at the moment is indescribable...no smilie has been invented that depicts how I feel about this. Economically I simply can't keep both machines if I'm going to get into racing.
I can only imagine, it would be the same feeling if i had to sell the r1
if i had 4 large i would buy this thing right now.

Except you are unlikely to get full retail. You could probably get halfway between the retail price and the trade in price.
This doesn't apply to you, so no offense, but it's a peeve of mine when people list their bikes as "2000 under book value!!!!" when they use the full retail as their baseline.

Bike will be up at NHMS this weekend if anyone wants to check it out.
Stop by Zip Tie Alley or keep an eye out for it cruising the paddock.
