Before I put the bike in storage next month and trade it in for a T700 or KTM twin I figured I’d gauge interest

Located in Woburn Ma

2009 KLR 650 with about 8600 miles on her that I picked up this summer for what was supposed to be a 30 day trip shut down from the Covid.

It was a pavement princess bone stock until I took ownership.

At 8400 miles I did the following:

Team Alpa Racing crash guards
SW tech skid plate
Rox 1” adjustable risers
Valve check
Coolant flush
Eagle Mike Counter balance tensioner “Doohickey” replacement w/ torsion spring
Fresh oil
Denali light mounts (no lights yet but ready for them)
KLR dash un-drilled
Shaved seat & stearns seat pad (additional stock seat included)

Spares:
low mile shock
Stock front fender
Pulley removal tools from Eagle Mike
Spare rear tube

Some small scratches on one side panel and minor scratch on the tank from my magnetic tank bag.
Drilled holes on the side panel for easy access to remove the seat bolts.

Had 75% life Shinko 705’s

Is this bike still available? Any interest in an '04 XT225 or a Ninja 250? My wife wants to upgrade and this would make a great holiday gift for her.

I’ve decided to keep it for a bit. Ride the NEBDR and see where I stand next summer.

Back up for sale. Business school starts in March and don’t see any time for long adventures for the next 2 years.

Put some heated grips off a relay’d circuit & a KLR tail bag on since then.
