Unfortunately, I have to choose between hobbies and at this point I'm using my non motorized 2 wheeled vehicles more than this one.
I bought this a few years ago off the second owner and I've done my best to keep up with the maintenance. Regularly have changed the oil using Motul 7100, used Engine Ice coolant, and kept the air filter clean. The bike is in overall good condition and runs very well. I recently checked the valves and they were in spec. Clean MA title in hand. Rear turn signals aren't on right now, but I'll be installing them shortly. The bike has about 2000 miles on it.
The goods:
-Pirelli tires front and rear last season
-Wheel bearings done last season
-Did X ring chain with 2 rides on it
-Rear brake pads last season with plenty of life
-New Twin Air filter
-New oem spark plug
-New plastics and graphics
-New intake manifold
-New carb boot
-Oberon slave cylinder
-Enduro Engineering radiator guards
-Aluminum skid plate
-Moose hand guards
The not as goods:
-Took it for a ride in CO last year and the soil stained the skid plate and other aluminum parts including the wheels
-A few spots of corrosion on the fork legs I knocked down with fine sandpaper; the fork seals are good and the forks do not leak
-CCT gasket sweats a little
Asking $3000 and I'll throw in some spare bits and bobs that go with it.
I would entertain trades for a more street oriented motorcycle. I like sport touring bikes, nakeds, VStrom shaped vehicles, some cruisers, but probably not a supersport bike.
