    2006 Yamaha YZ250 two-stroke

This is a 2006 Yamaha YZ250 that's been recently rebuilt from the frame up by Jeff Wood. He's quoted as saying 'Too bad I don't know anyone that needs a dirtbike because this thing is pretty sweet'. So seeing as how some folks here might, I'm posting this up.

It has on it some nice Pro-Taper bars, SDG gripper seat, and an aluminum skidplate. Also comes with a set of winter snow spike tires. So you can buy this now and ride all winter.

    New parts are:
    Top End
    Clutch
    Chain
    Sprockets
    Brake pads (front and rear)
    Cables
    Grips

    Price is $2,450

Please contact Jeff Wood with any questions at penguinracing9@yahoo.com

Here's a couple of pics taken with my iPhone.

Super nice bike. I was watching Pawn Stars the other day, and the owner's son picked up a *pristine* '07 or '08 YZ250 for like $1,200! The bike looked like it had never even been ridden! The paint wasn't even worn off of the clutch cover at all. I couldn't believe that someone would be so desparate for cash to sell that bike for that price. The guy was, like "My wife is gonna kill me, but....Ok, deal."

No pic update but this bike has all new rear plastics on it now (plates and fender) and a new front fender. All Yamaha blue so it looks factory again and looks mint.

Old stuff was fine but the black just wasn't cutting it... Started up first kick as well and sounds tight.
