Oof, lost track of the times I’ve said this is the best bike I’ve ever had and the one I’d keep if I could only have one… but I’m finding myself without a real venue to ride anymore as I rarely commute to work these days. Otherwise I seem to be grabbing the Multi for everything else so it might be time to move on.
1999 ZRX1100 Eddie Lawson colors.
31k miles
Valves adjusted and slipper clutch installed a few years ago. Not a ton of miles since.
Last year I did a very thorough full fuel system cleaning including tank, lines, and professional carb rebuild.
Mods:
Dual Ohlins rear shocks
Ohlins cartridges shoehorned into the stock forks by Dan Kyle… took some doing.
KWICK ZX7R-based slipper clutch.
KWICK 4 degree timing advancer
KWICK Petcock
KWICK Tension Tamer (starter chain tensioner fix)
Racing aluminum radiator, w/ fan
Brembo goldline front calipers, Galfer wave rotors, SS lines and Brembo RCS brake master.
Full Muzzy exhaust, Stage III Ivan’s jetting and K&N pods. Fueling is crisp.
Airbox-out mod, enough under seat storage for a gallon of milk.
“Train light” single round headlight (I have OEM light, faring, subframe).
Wog seat.
Givi tailbag mount (I have stock grab bars).
Fully registered, inspected, and ready to go. Clean and clear title in my name.
Turn key ultimate standard.

Beautiful example. What weight is it sprung for?

This bike is cool AF! It reminds me of when I was admiring the bike that the instructor (Steve?) had at the road racing license class at Loudon back in 2015
GLWS! I’m not buying bikes right now but it’s the first one that’s temped me in a while…
Ha! I remember Steve's bike back in 2001, when I first did the Penguin "Lite" school (on the rented EX500). Then again in 2004, when I did the road racing license school. I've loved that bike since 2001 ... and if I win PowerBall or Mega, I'm going to buy this bike for the sole purpose of doing a Pengiun track day to ride along side of Steve with matching bikes and have Martin Hanlon snap some pics (maybe side-by-side going through T9?)! Generally not a fan of Kawa's, but this bike is right at the top of my list of wants.
GLWS Scottie, its going to make somebody very happy.

Yeah, I'm thinking you bumped your head and haven't quite come to your senses.

Beautiful bike! When my son was 5 or6, I found that this had a short reach to the passenger pegs as well...just saying ;-)

So is this still for sale or did you reconsider?
