For sale is this nice CB1100F Super Sport. If you're familiar with this one year model, then you know it's heritage. I have several of these that I have restored, but not enough time to ride them all, so this one has to go. This was a fairly extensive restoration with a number of improvements and upgrades included:
Powder coated frame, wheels, fork legs, anti-dive units, engine covers, calipers, masters, OEM handlebars, battery box, swingarm, etc., including many parts that are now out of sight.
New custom-made wiring harness, fitted to brand-new Honda CB1100 controls. Relay mod included.
CBR coils and wires
CBR starter solenoid
Carbs professionally rebuilt by Mike Nixon
New carb insulators
OEM shocks rebuilt (springs re-chromed, and bodies and tanks powder coated)
Rebuilt forks
Completely restored brake system from front to back. New Galfer SS (black covered) lines. New *glass* sight glass in front master. New pads, pistons, seals, etc.
Brake rotors resurfaced by Truedisk and centers powder coated
Pro grips
EBC clutch disks and clutch steels glass beaded
Vance and Hyde shift detent star
New swingarm bearings
New steering stem bearings
New wheel bearings
New Shinko Tourmaster tires
Big Crank AGM battery (now 2 years old)
Valves and chains adjusted
Motor was cleaned, soda blasted, cleaned again, then primed and painted with Eastwood 2K ceramic paint
4-into-1 exhaust. Headers are high temp PC'd and can is polished (not sure what exhaust it is - Kerker? V&H?)
Upgraded starter clutch
New euro-style sportkit throttle cables
Braided stainless steel oil cooler lines
Seat recovered with correct 1100F pattern cover
New JT Sprockets front and rear sprockets and Regina gold x-ring chain
Gas tank is clean inside
Bobbed tail for a meaner look. I can provide a stock fender if preferred.
The bike runs strong and sounds great. The bodywork is original and nice, but not perfect - I'd rate it a 7 out of 10.
This is a turnkey bike and if you know what all of the above would cost to have done, then you know that the $5900 asking price is very fair.
No tire kickers, no trades, no low ball offers. If you want to buy a nice 1100F that you can just get on and ride, this is the one for you.
