Selling this since I just don't have the time it deserves.
1980 Suzuki GS1000G (shaft) in very nice shape, all original, 8173 miles. I got it earlier this year from the original owner. It had sat a while, and he did some work on it last year. Now it "just needs carbs cleaned." It starts and runs on choke but not off choke. The PO said he had the carbs off (with a mechanic friend). I checked the pilot screws, pulled them out, dropped the float bowl drain plugs and flushed with carb cleaner, brake cleaner, and air. The tank is so clean it looks like new. I checked the petcock -- clean and flows fuel. I installed a new AGM battery, new spark plugs, and did some cleaning and lubing. The PO replaced the front brake hoses and changed the engine oil and filter (not sure if he changed the two final drive oils, but that's easy enough). Tires have plenty of tread but are older. Includes tool kit, factory service manual, original mirrors, spare oil filter, and MA title.
