$19,000 FIRM
Up for sale is a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 - Super High Roof - 118 Wheelbase - T1N body style
195k Miles - 5 Cylinder Turbo Diesel Mercedes Engine. Passes CA emissions and SMOG. Everything works, no engine lights, it will pass MA inspection.
I tried to sell it here in the Bay Area, but am now going to be driving it back East and selling it there. It pains me to sell it. I love this little van. However, I am looking for something slightly bigger that I can store my bicycles inside of instead of outside of. All the perks of having a tiny van go away when I need to strap a mega bike rack on the hitch. I also like to keep my bikes hidden...seeing as they are worth more and easier to steal than the van. It seems like a stupid reason to sell, but that's it.
This is Paul's old van I bought from him 2 years ago. If you follow the Sprinter Thread or your attended a TTD event, you know it very well. In full disclosure, this is more than I paid Paul for it. When I purchased it it, it was fully disclosed that it needed batteries and tires, together which are over $1k. I also invested an approximate $4-5k in parts and close to 200 hours of my time rebuilding this.
It has 195k miles on it, expect close or over 200k by the time it gets back. I start my trip tonight and it will probably be about 2 weeks until you can see it. I will fully disclose anything that may occur over this time period and adjust the price accordingly if needed.
Price seems steep at first glance, but please keep reading. This vehicle is well maintained, ready to rock, fully converted, and all in a bite size package. Clean title in hand.
This is the really short 118 inch wheel base. This wheelbase in a super high roof is very rare. Making this even more rare is that it is the passenger version with a full suite of windows.
It is the perfect city Sprinter to park on the street as it is less than length of your typical SUV and turns on a dime. The motor is an absolute dream - get ready to pass cars uphill at 75mph.

Last one I’m aware of sold for $23,000 in NY, without solar or batteries.
So fresh. I predict this will go quickly.
