I am getting ready to pull the trigger. Have a couple bikes lined up on radar...Have been looking for some time and read all the reviews and what not. I still end up at the same question.
Do I get the 1000 or the 600. I know I won't use all the power the 1000 has, but I weigh about 225 (naked) and the bottom end torque over the 600 is what I keep debating over....
I hate twisting the throttle and waiting....
It will be for mostly street use, with the ocasional track day here, there, and anytime I have some extra $$$$.
I have ridden both bikes for small spurts, the 600 is okay as long as it stays above 8 grand, is very easy to flick around, and is a pretty small bike in general but fits me well.
the 1000 is a little bigger, WAAAY more power, flicks just about as easy as the 600 (which was a big surprise) and is almost the same size as the 600.......
Insurance would be cheaper as well as the payment, but the difference is not all that much to influence my decision.
I thought I would ask the crew here and see what i get out of it.....Right now the 1000 is my 1st choice,
I been ridding well over 10+years, but have been on mostly Harleys/Buells durring that time, I like the bottom end torque most and rarely go over 100mph......
Lets hear your opinions....
