I know there isn't a big chopper scene here, but there's a pretty neat story behind this one. Bought this rolling chassis from a 69 year old lady who bought it brand new in 1968. She was apparently riding it off and on until the early 90's when she yanked the motor to have it rebuilt. I guess the shop that was working on the motor burned down and she never saw the motor again, so it sat in her garage like this until I bought it.
I'm not really in the position to take on any more projects, so I'm letting it go. That said, if you have a motor for sale or trade, let me know, in which case I'll probably keep it. It's super cool. Paint still shines on most of the bike, as does much of the chrome. Tank is clean inside. Seat is nice (missing a button, but I just conditioned the leather so it's nice and soft). As far as I can tell, it has everything but the motor, carbs, exhaust and foot controls. What you see in the pics is what it comes with. If it were me, I would put a motor in it and change as little as possible. It's a badass little bobber.
Looking for $900 cash, or possibly trade for something motorcycle, dirt bike, scooter or hot rod related.
